Clicky Cacti - Fidget Toy with Mechanical Switches - Pocket Plants

Instructions Hardware Filaments

Clicky Cacti - Beginner I've designed a bunch of functional plants in the past. But this time around I wanted to do something that's just for fun, that still will look great on a desk, shelf, counter etc. These Clicky Cacti were perfect to do just that.

But how do they work? The Cactuses (Cacti?) press onto a mechanical switch, which sits inside the pot. This allows you to click away on the cactus with a satisfying noise that sounds just like a mechanical keyboard.

Quick and Easy Printing This print is super fast, and super easy. Nothing takes more than a few hours to print. And they use up very little filament. Print using a multi-color printer for best results. and make sure to use the Easy Print 3mf if you have a bambu printer!

These Mini Plants look great on the print-in-place Display Stand! Free to download for ForgeCore members

I love every single one! I have the happiest little desk corner.
I don't understand how I'm the only one having this issue. But I've now printed 20 of these and I have to shave all the bottom corners off (see cacti on right) or it gets stuck in the down position in the pot.
Printed the pots on a Bambu A1 Mini & the caps on A1. Used SuperTack plate for both & had no adhesion issues.

After printing the ones in the photo, I set the seam to back so that it would not have a disjointed seam on the pots & instead has a seam straight down the back.

Filament used: ERYONE Olive Green, PolyLite Cream, ERYONE Red Matte, ERYONE Matte Pottery Red

Suuuuuupppppppppper fun 😌😊
These printed great for me. I know some people had difficulty with them fitting onto the key switches but mine weren’t bad at all. And any problems I did have were easily fixed with a heat gun. I’m going to get better switches for my next batch that are more “Clicky” 🤣

Colors are Bambu Labs Matte dark green, Matte Late Brown, and matte dark red for the cacti, the pots are Polyterra Marble sandstone and OVV3D Teak Wood.
Simple easy and cute! I love clicky fidgets and am so excited to have these little guys for my desk!

lol so now that you have pack 2, what are the odds that we can get these remixed to match? The dirt on the bottom and the better MX fit on the new pack are phenomenal. It would be nice if they both had them.

This old pack just got updated with the newer fit, no dirt was added but they have the updated cut geometry.
