Aromatic Orchid - Oil Diffusor and Incense Holder - with Spinning Leaves

Instructions Hardware Filaments

Aromatic Orchid - Intermediate I have always wanted to design an orchid, but I could never think of an idea for what function it should have. Eventually i realized that since it's a flower, it should smell nice. And the fact that Orchids normally have sticks to hold up the stems made this the perfect oil diffusor. Add on the spinning leaves to help increase the scent and this became one of my favorite models to design.

But how does it work? There is a container in the middle of the plant that holds the oil (or an incense stick). Put a few reeds inside it and you have an oil diffusor. The leaves are attached to a bearing made with small metal balls, which lets you spin the leaves to get a boost of scent.

The Oil container has a small hole in the bottom to hold an incense stick, if you prefer incense. The stick is held perfectly upright so all the ashes fall into the container.

It is recommended that you print two containers if you want to use both oil, and incense. So you don't mix the two.

Customization: Orchids come in all different colors. Feel free to print the petals and inner petals in whatever colors your like! blue, pink, yellow, purple etc. And don't forget to upload your make so we can see them!

I really like this orchid. The only thing is that I had to cut the stem into 2 parts, because they did not fit on my table
Love! Want to print another one!

Mood lighting for the ForgeCore Aromatic Orchid. Love this print so much, can’t wait to add it to my etsy shop
Pretty!
Beautiful Plant!
I’ve change the method of diffused oil, I’ve make a base and box for oil and on the base a cap with many stones!!!
I’ve put all on the real ceramic pot!
I’ve added fake leafs (buy on Amazon)
Printed this as a gift for my sister and I love it and I think she will as well. I think I will print one for myself soon. I only used a brim on just the inner petal
New to printing, this model was SO inspiring I had to make one! The only downside was having to cut my stems short to fit on my print bed. I think it turned out beautiful! I loved it so much I have two more printing already!

A wonderful orchid with oil and incense
Got this stellar shot at my last vendor event and I had to share! Keeping it classic but folks love these! I have a lot of folks just buy them so they can have a "forever orchid" lol The oil diffuser is a bonus!
Because we didn't do very well with the real orchid on the windowsill, I thought this orchid would make a great replacement!

The Crossover of a Lifetime! Cinderwing3D Crystalwing Dragons and Forgecore Aromatic Orchid.
I’ve now made 5 different color variations of this orchid and it is quite possibly the prettiest plant released to date. It prints smooth from the 3mf on both my p1s and A1
Sold this darling shortly after I took this photo! An incredibly complex looking, but simple to assemble print!
Can you find the tiny duck?
I used all Bambu Matte Filaments. It printed smoothly and was quick to assemble. The pot feels a little light so I may add sand or something later on, but for now I added a silicone base to the bottom of the pot so it doesn’t slip around when spinning the leaves. All around fantastic print. I love seeing how much detail goes into each Forgecore design.
This Orchid printed beautifully and looks real!

Is there any way you’d be willing to send me your 3mf file for your flowers? I love that they look like real orchids!
