Acknowledgements Many thanks to Equbuxu and Jake over on Printables for the inspiration!

Design Concept Description I love the original design of the Gridfinity system, but I want to print more bins and faster:) So this concept is an attempt to cut down on time and material without sacrificing quality or sturdiness. The name is inspired by the shipping containers' corrugated steel walls, which are designed this way to maximize strength while keeping the weight at a minimum. Plus I love how they look like mini-containers in my IKEA Alex drawer 🙂

Here is an example on what to expect:

Filament Used / Time (on old PRUSA MK3) / Print Settings

Zack’s Original 2x4x6 bin / ~80g / 5h26m / 0.2mm Speed 20% infill Corrugated Light 2x4x6 bin / ~40g / 4h6m / 0.2mm Speed Mod 0% infill

I have also printed a couple with 0.3mm layer height because I am way too impatient! They worked just fine:) The files are uploaded in 3 folders based on height: 2U, 3U, 6U. In each folder you will find all combination bins from 1x1 up to 5x7. Try them out and if you like them or need more, leave a comment and I will gladly add them. I’ve shared .STEP files because I’m a nice guy 😛

Print Settings These models were printed on Prusa MK3 with Generic PLA. These models are not for VASE MODE (too weak) but are optimized such that each layer has 2 perimeters! Check Equbuxu’s brilliant print settings for a more in depth explanation.

In a nutshell, here is what I’ve changed to standard profiles: Set Perimeters to 1 Infill / Advanced / Bridging angle to 45.

Tested with: 0.2mm Layer Height (QUALITY Prusaslicer) 0.3mm Layer Height (DRAFT Prusaslicer)

Stay tunned! More Gridfinity stuff is coming 😛 That's it! Happy printing and looking forward to your feedback and remixes! Thanks!

Thank you for making these!

Is it possible to get the .f3d files for a few of these? I'd like to be able to make bins with various heights, dimensions, etc. Thanks in advance!

Awesome design! But can you make 9 and 12 height? Or upload a source file?

Love the corrugated bins. Have you ever thought about making them with a flat bottom like originals? As much as I like the ultra light bins, I often need a flat floor and don't want to mix and match corrugated with non-corrugated.

Or making a bottom insert that flattened the bottom without doing a shadow insert?

It's a shame that the floor isn't smooth :-(

These are some of my favorite bins!

Hello, is the old MK3 larger in terms of the print bed? I wanted to print “Co_Lt_Bin_2x6x2”. But it doesn't fit on the print bed of the MK3S+.

Thank you very much
