Double Lip Corrugated Gridfinity Light Bins
Design Concept Description: This is a evolution of my previous model (Corrugated Gridfinity Light Bins). In an attempt to make the gridfinity bins even more economical and reusable, this design breaks the solid bin in two parts: the empty bin and an insert(lid). In this way, whenever you change or upgrade any tool, you can now just reprint the custom insert lid and keep the body of the bin instead of throwing the whole module away. This saves you a ton of plastic and so the system becomes even more flexible in the future. Print Settings: These models were printed on Prusa MK3 with Generic PLA. Same settings as the original Corrugated Gridfinity Light Bins. Go check it out for more details!
Stay tunned! More Gridfinity stuff is coming, especially the Insert Lids 😛 That's it! Happy printing and looking forward to your feedback and remixes! Thanks!

this is an awesome design coupled together with tacgriz dividers its almost perfect. But I do have issues customizing it further and I wanted to ask if it was done in fusion , will you agree to share the f3d file. again thank you very much
Would you mind also adding 5u height versions? It's a typical size and 6 does not fit inside of my drawer...
Very nice work, thank you for this. Would appreciate half-spaced bottoms and also half sizes (1.5x1x6 for example).
I really like the design, unfortunately after printing the 4x5 out, the squares around the edge don't take any of the Gridfinity bins I've printed, likewise if I try to put two next to each other, they are slightly too close top each other.
Only had my printed a couple of weeks so probably user error by me
Hello ImprovedByDesign. I made myself some 4U, 8U and 12U versions of these (for my use). I can share if useful at all.
Please share it!
Hi, I'd appreciate some taller versions if you'd make them available!
Also looking for 4U, 8U and 12U versions.
Perfection! Glad i found them. And thank you so much for doing STEP files, awesome!
Looking forward to trying these! FYI, when opening the 3mf files in Bambu Studio, it asks if you want to scale it to mm for some reason (correct answer is "no") and if you want to group it into one object with multiple parts (correct answer is yes), then it asks to repair non-manifold edges.
Any chance you can make a variation that includes the magnet holders?
