These louvres upgrade your Dewalt DCV517 Vacuum so that it exhausts air (more) toward the back rather then out the sides. The DCV517 from the factory exhausts air sideways which can cause it to push dust and dirt around. Adding these louvres mitigates this by directing the air backward.
