The New Maker Chip! A Maker coin that checks all the boxes!
Remember the era of exchanging Maker coins? It was a fun way to exchange little prints with other makers. However, it wasn't very useful other than a fun little trinket.
Introducing the Maker 'Chip'! Adhering to the size of a standard Poker chip, you can put your logo on one side and a QR code to your links/website of choice on the back! It's the maker coin meets business card!
So many people now have the ability to print multi-color, so it's a great time to transition to a useful design you can hand out at events.
The model here is just a flat, blank chip. You can customize it within a slicer.

I was at 3D Printopia today and got maker chips from STLDenise and Sam Prentice. Unfortunately I don't have a multi-color printer so it would be a lot harder to make, so I handed out old-school maker coins.
Nice. I wish I could make one. I've yet to figure out how to get an STL, of, for example, a logo or QR code, to be ontop of the chip. Bambu Studio, snaps it to the bed, every time. Even if I position it in ASSEMBLY view.
