The Dragon Page Keeperis an illuminated dragon in a cape reading an open book, designed to sit right on top of an LED tea light [https://a.co/d/edgb6Xs] or an RGB puck light [https://a.co/d/dZVWg0A].

I also made a larger version for a plug-in LED puck light (There are many options of these types of lights out there. Just know the opening is 63mm) https://a.co/d/1CJ61HP

**This model comes in two sizes:**

- Small (38mm opening) – fits 1.4inch LED tea lights.

- Large (63mm opening) – scaled up with adjustments to fit brighter LED puck light.

I recommend printing in a single light or translucent filament to maximize the glow. For the larger version, I finished it with gold, silver, and black Rub ‘n Buff, and the results were stunning!

This model was heavily requested after the Pumpkin Page Keeper release, and I think this dragon version will be a perfect addition for book lovers and fantasy fans alike!

**Print Settings**

- Walls: 2

- Infill: 5% gyroid

- Supports: Strong Tree supports on (critical regions only)

- Layer Height: 0.20 mm

**Filament Usage & Print Times (Bambu Lab A1 tested)**

- Small Version (38mm LED slot)

- Single Color: ~111g | 8 hrs

- Multicolor (4 colors): ~393g | 29.5 hrs

- Can reduce to 3 colors if removing the white book page layer

- Best printed in batches to save time and filament

**Large Version (63mm LED puck slot)**

- Single Color: ~315g | 18.5 hrs

I did not color the large version because it would take several days and far too much filament

_A cryptex is a portable, puzzle-like container, typically cylindrical, that stores a secret message or items behind a combination lock._

This cryptex looks like a Mark 2 hand grenade, with four numbered dials that make up the main shell of the grenade. Similar to [my other cryptex on MakerWorld](https://makerworld.com/en/models/1450159-number-cryptex-configurable-puzzle-container#profileId-1510514), it has ratcheting encoding rings that can be used to set any 4-digit passcode you want! And turning the dials is super satisfying thanks to the ratchet!

There are three different versions of the dials you can print:
- Plain — No numbers at all if you want to paint them yourself
- Inset numbers — The numbers are inset holes on the dial
- Embedded numbers — The numbers are embedded and can be painted in the slicer

If you add a small spring to the fuse, you can make the safety lever, "spoon", to pop off when the pin is pulled, just like in a real grenade!

**Printing tips:**
The parts are already oriented optimally. _Inner cylinder_, _Fuse_ and _Safety lever_ need supports. Use tree supports for the _Safety lever_.

If you're using Orca Slicer or Bambu Studio, a handy project file is included that has my print settings and painted parts ready to go!

**Assembly**
You'll need an optional spring, 0.5x5x25mm recommended, for the safety lever action. But the cryptex works just fine without it, it's just a little fun bonus! You can also use a keyring for the safety pin ring, or use a printable ring.

No other hardware required to assemble! If you have printed the *bolt tool* included with [my previous cryptex on MakerWorld](https://makerworld.com/en/models/1450159-number-cryptex-configurable-puzzle-container#profileId-1510514), it will also work for this installation! If not, the tool is included here as well! Or you can use a flat- or hex head screwdriver too.
