Ender 3 side mount/holster for an Intel NUC.

I use an old Intel NUC as an OctoPrint server and wanted a way to keep it attached to my Ender 3 for better cable management and to keep the setup as a single unit for ease of use/moving/etc.

This design is a mashup of three existing, great base parts:

1. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3205332 is the base holster I trimmed down by removing the upper half and expanding/extending to support a NUC with general dimensions of 11.5 x 11.5 x 5 cm;
2. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3708776 is the back support with screw holes for the factory NUC mounting screws. This provides additional support for the NUC so it won't fall sideways; and
3. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4100712 is the base model I used for the side rail mounts, doubled up and extended to the majority of the mount's width (and short enough to fit on the back corner opposite PSU of an Ender 3). Snipping parts of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4579489 covers helped tighten up the rail fit to prevent any wobbling.

Together, this provides an excellent and solid/stable mounting platform for the NUC which affords better cable management and keeps things snug and out of the way.

Ender 3 Intel NUC Side Mount

A custom designed thin wall mount for 10.2" iPad. Intended to provide enough support for daily use of a home assistant touchscreen dashboard for home automation control. Four small corner pieces are exposed; the majority of the design is hidden behind the iPad like a floating wall mount.

iPad fits neatly in the lower corners and is locked into place with "snap in" removable upper corners. A small slit in the upper corner pieces affords a way to reach the power button without removing the bracket. Two countersunk screw holes are provided for flush mount to a wall/surface.

Ideally the main portion of this bracket would be printed in one piece; however, for many print beds a 10.2" iPad mount must be printed in two parts to fit. A small stabilizer/connecting brace is included, solidifying the two halves. Gluing the two halves and brace together is recommended, but not required.

A remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4979776 with elongated screw head cutouts and slight countersink on the underside.

I liked the original https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4634422 (v 2.2 model 5) but wanted to keep the screw heads on the underside rather than screw into the cover from above to keep the BLTouch more secure against the threaded metal bracket. The original design didn't include cutouts/tolerance for the length of M3 button screws, and the remix works great for the screw head itself but was a bit tight to install with 6 or 8mm screws without bending the final product.

The elongated cutouts work better with M3x6 or M3x8 button screws without bending or risking a break on the finished piece. M3x6 screws will work, but require a little countersink to fully thread into the mount bracket. M3x8 screws are recommended.

Pictured printed in yellow for clarity in final product, but I prefer black (or a dark color) to tone down the BLTouch light (in yellow/light colors there's more bleed through).
