This mod is specifically for: 10.5" x 7" Collapsible Stackable Storage Bin by Top Notch. Here is the link. These often are on sale for $2 or $2.50 each. I have found these plus the 16" x 13" storage containers to be the perfect size and price for my projects and storage needs.
**NOTE: Top Notch makes 2 types of the smaller bins. ** To make sure you have the correct one for this mod:
- Do the sides have only vertical lines?
- Is there 2 prongs on the short side for labels?
- Does it match the last picture, the one on the left? Then it works.
It will NOT work if:
- The holes on the side are a diagonal basket weave
- It matches the last picture, the one on the right
These 2 types of storage containers are very similar, but are not compatible with each other.
I made this mod because I have a drawer cabinet that can fit 10 of the smaller containers perfectly, and the 16" x 13" is just barely too tall to stack 2.
The security connector may not be needed. The center, middle connector will be slightly loose while the center connectors closest to the ends will be very hard to remove.
Amounts to print are also in the stl names. This is per connected container. Side connector= Print 2/ Quantity 2 Side security connector= Print 2/ Quantity 2 Middle connector= Print 3/ Quantity 3
