This is a set of baseboards, pieces and effect rings for making your own set for playing D&D or other board games . It is designed for easy printing, with large tolerances and a .28mm layer height in mind so, it will not take a lot of time or filament.
The concept is that you print as many "baseboards with no interlock "as you want ( 4 are enough ,each baseboard is 6 by 6 squares ,so 30ft by dnd standards) as many of the “36top_pieces” you want to paint for different surfaces effects, like lava, hard terrain etc, as many “pawn_1x1”(or 2x2) you want for different players, NPCs and enemies. Then you print the “stand” and you glue it under each of the models with an icon. Only a tiny drop of glue is enough. Then you paint, with a marker, the top surface of the icon, for an extra spice. The board version with interlock isn't tested yet
You can use the rings (you don't need to scale them more, i have already done it) for expressing special effects like wounded or buffed.
The “pawn_2x2” has the same hole, like the 1x1 but it is bigger and takes a 2 by 2 space on the board, so you are supposed to scale up, at 200%, any icon-top so it will look more dangerous.
There is ruler and a cone file, for creating anything on paper or measuring any radius you want. Also a door and Wall tower are provided for ease of use.
ALL THE TOLERANCES ARE DESIGNED FOR 0.28mm, don't waste your time if you don't have to, but who am I to stop you :P. If you have elephant's foot in your prints, glue the side with the foot on the top piece so you will not have fitment problems with the pawn holes.
If you want to add your own piece, download the “no_icon” file and make your own top thingy
The SVGs for making the top icons where taken from the site https://game-icons.net/ and their creators where with no particular order: Lorc , Delapouite , Skoll , sbed .
