ORNIS christmas tree ornament decoration
A lightweight, elegant ornament designed specifically for hollow vase-mode printing. The swirl surface looks especially beautiful in silk filaments—perfect for Christmas trees, seasonal décor, or gift wrapping.
This model must be printed in Vase Mode. Spiral printing is what keeps the ornament hollow, lightweight, and open at the top for attaching your loop or ribbon.

Two Attachment Options:

Fully 3D-Printed Strap With Loop (No Ribbon Needed) Print the included flexible strap with an integrated loop. Insert one end into the top opening, then the other. The strap locks securely inside the hollow ornament and cannot fall inside.

Ribbon Version (For 6–8 mm WIDE ribbon) Print only the small 3D-printed loop (short piece). Thread a 6–8 mm WIDE ribbon through it. Press the loop into the top opening to anchor it.

I just love this design. Some different shapes in the same style would look great also.
You say to print it with Silk PLA, what will happen with basic PLA? Is there any differents by printing? Or is it Silk PLA recommended just by the look?

Hi, you need to follow the instructions included in the READ ME pdf file that comes with your download to print properly. 🙏🏻
Yea, there's no top hole in your model. Might need to revise it.
As mentioned in the instructions, the ornament needs to be printed in VASE mode to stay hollow, which is why there’s a hole. If you’re still having trouble after enabling vase mode, feel free to email me at simonauhrova3d@gmail.com and let me know which slicer you’re using, I’ll be happy to pre-slice the file for you.
