Hello Cowbite - it is very odd how Cura previews it, I can't explain it to be honest, it prints great for me. I print it down with the mounting plate on the bed. I added a new photo to help.
So, loading the model in Freecad and Cura it appears like the model is corrupted to some degree? https://imgur.com/a/gz5Xvlx
Do you print it standing up (ie display mode) or laying on it's back? On it's back, there are a lot of overhangs to support (every slot in the surface) where standing up you just have the ceiling. Suggestions?
