Super73 Latching utility hanger

This latching hook was designed primarily to allow hanging your helmet on the side of your bike.

The spring loaded latch provides a tiny layer of security in that you must know how to reach in and depress the latch release in order to free your helmet from the hanger.

Lastly, you may also find the hook useful for hanging other items such as: gloves, small grocery bags, etc...

Assembly:

1. Insert the latch into the hook.
2. Install M3x20mm and matching nut into the large hole, and through the installed latch. The latch should freely pivot on this bolt.
3. Cut a bic pen spring in half and insert it into the detent in back of the latch and inside the hook cavity that holds the latch.
4. Finally, a small 2mm screw, or wire can be inserted through the small arced slot and through the latch. (see the knurled brass piece I used). This will allow you to open a closed latch and release whatever you are carrying.
