I downloaded and printed this puzzle. I was very disappointed. You can solve this puzzle in less than 30 seconds. Pull and twist with little force and it will solve with little effort.
Hey! Zack here from YouTube. For anyone visiting from my video, STEP files are commonly used by mechanical engineers. You can import them into nearly any CAD program and export each piece as an STL.
Hey all - I uploaded a remix (https://thangs.com/model/9015) of this with a taller shoulder (blank area) on top of the maze, should help prevent the maze from coming apart before it's completed.
Too loose and floppy. Should have a detent or something in the closed position, and there's no need to solve the maze because once you get to the top level, you can just pop it out. Needs to be redesigned.

Maybe it's just my printer, but this doesn't work. The two parts are completely stuck together, can't move them an inch.
Same

you have the step by step steps on youtube to create one and choose the maze you want, well no, we want to have everything cooked in the beak!
step file :(
@elliott21096 - STEP files are used by parametric CAD programs (Fusion 360, OnShape, SolidWorks, etc). You can also download the STL here: https://thangs.com/productdesignonline/3D-Printable-Maze-Puzzle-Box--STL-Filestl-21419
Was just gonna ask what software opens a .step file?
like this i print with abs lokks good
Download the STL file (with improvements) here: https://thangs.com/productdesignonline/3D-Printable-Maze-Puzzle-Box--STL-Filestl-21419
If you download fusion 360, it will work
Not everybody has access to a CAD program and the one I use (thinkercad) doesn't support .step files........
Fusion 360 is literally free... Just download it and stop complaining.

It’s really nice, but too easy to cheat. When the notch reaches the top, the lid falls off, with half a maze to go 😳
Nice idea. I can't get my slicer to code it well enough for my printer however.
what are the suggested print settings?
