2x1 - Top Click Rim Tight

This is a tighter version of the original 2x1 Top Click Rim for Multibin / Multiboard.

Why I made this

I ran into a fit issue while using the original 2x1 Top Click Rim together with:

• 2x1x0.5 - Topped Multipoint Rail - Pop-In Multibin Shell Extension
• 2x1 CU - Sharpie Holder - Multibin Top

The Sharpie Holder Top clicked into the rim correctly, but when I tried to install the full Top + Click Rim assembly into the Shell Extension, the assembly was not held tightly enough and could fall through / drop into the shell instead of snapping securely in place.

The orientation and assembly were correct, but the fit was still too loose for my print/setup.

What changed

For this Tight remix:

• The internal part/interface is kept the same as the original.
• The outside of the rim was enlarged to 100.5% of the original size.
• This gives the rim a slightly tighter fit against the shell/extension while keeping the original top-side compatibility.

This version is intended for cases where the original rim is too loose and does not hold the Multibin Top securely.

Printing

Use the same print settings as the original model:

• 0.2 mm layer height
• 3 perimeters/walls
• 15% infill
• No supports
• Print in the orientation provided

Note to the original creator

Dear original creator: thank you for making the Multiboard / Multibin system and the original Top Click Rim. It would be great if you could consider adding an official Tight version of this part for users whose printers or material tolerances make the standard rim fit too loosely. A small outer-size increase like this can help the Top Click Rim hold much more securely while preserving the original internal interface.
