I'm actually wondering the same thing so I'm going to try it without supports first and see how that comes out. I'll come back here and update you with an answer as soon as the print finishes!

resized to be a little dsk buddy, printed in Sinlu TPU , came out AMAZING!
face and teeth detail are fresh AF even if i had support on it ( you can clearly se the teeth pre-paint)
