Ned Flanders
Say howdy-doodily to Ned Flanders, standing in solemn prayer with his fingers gently clasped together, just as you'd see him in church on a Sunday morning. This faithful print captures his calm expression and classic outfit, with clean part separation for easy multi-color printing and smooth assembly—perfect for any Simpsons fan looking to add a little holiness to their shelf!
Dimensions: Ned stands approximately 8.9 inches (226 mm) tall at 100% scale. Scaling up shouldn’t cause any issues, but if scaling down, be mindful that some tolerances may become tight.
Colors Used: Bambu Basic: White, Black Bambu Matte: Sakura Pink, Yellow, Nardo Grey, Dark Brown Tecbears: Olive Green
Assembly Tips To build the glasses, locate the two notches—these indicate the top of the frame. The side arms of the glasses curve downward at the back, helping you identify the correct orientation. Apply a small amount of glue to the front end of each arm and insert it into the notch. Hold in place until secure, then let dry. Repeat for the other side.
I’ve also included a fully assembled version of the glasses in case you plan to print them at a larger scale or want to try printing them at 100%. It is possible, but the quality tends to drop toward the ends of the side arms.
Assembly Instructions Attach the shoes to the pants using the pins. Each shoe is labeled L and R for Ned’s left and right. Connect the pants to the body using the pin. Glue the hands onto the arms. Attach the pink collar and pin to the body. Attach the hair to the head, then insert the mustache into the face using the pin. Place the eyes onto the head, then attach the head to the body. Finally, build the glasses and gently lay them on his face—and you’re all done!
That’s it for building Ned! Thanks so much for printing, and don’t forget to share your finished build by tagging @playco3d. Neighborino approved!
