DSK- Desktop Stand
DSK is a modular 3d printable desktop stand. This design uses four evenly spaced planned Oak wood , which creates a thin groove to add different attachments to the stand. These attachments include watch stands, a key/coin tray and a zen garden decorative plate, which I use to place 2 stone I have gathered from my Snowdonia & Scafell pike hikes. Planing on designing more attachments in the future.
What you will need:
x4- 36mm x 15mm x 900mm planned wood ( I used lake but feel free to use any of your choice) x12 - Counter sunk wood screw 3mm x 20mm x8 - M2 x 12mm Phillips screw
TOOLS: Screw driver
Tips Before placing the screws, drill a small 2mm hole. This makes it easier to add in the screws and prevent the wood from splitting. If you don’t have a drill bit go slowly when screwing.
Print the attachments and the Mid columns on their long side to increase strength for the fins & reduce the amount filament.
