Everdark Witch

Everdark Witch - Printed on my Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra. Nice model. I love the hair and skirt/gown. I tried a few new techniques to push myself (wet blending) when painting. It's not one of my best, but overall it was an enjoyable and nice print to paint. A big thanks to Titan Forge for running these weekly contests. I wish I would have found out about these sooner. It's been fun printing a mini and painting it once a week. I have a nice selection of them on my display shelf now! Hopefully a new contest like this can take place in the future! - 3d model

Owlbear

Owlbear - If I'm honest, I'm a bit proud of how this model came out. TF put together a very nicely detailed model. The included rock made basing and posing the model much easier. I pushed myself to work on layering techniques. I feel I did a good job on the body. By the time I got to the wings I was a bit burned out. In hindsight, I should have stopped for the evening and came back the next day. I spent about 4 hours in total on this guy. The owlbear was printed on an Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra in a combination of gray resins that I had available; probably a mix of Elegoo ABS-like and 8K. It is painted with Vallejo model and game color paints. No washes or shades were used on the figure. I applied Citadel Athonian Camoshade to the rock for definition and a moss-weathered look. The base was covered in a Citadel Agrellan Earth Technical paint and covered with Citadel Mantis Warriors Green Contrast paint. I added some grass tufts I picked up from the local gaming shop to complete the base. - 3d model

Goblin Archer A - Printed on my Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra. I used a "stock" 0.05mm with a 3sec exposure in Elegoo 8k Space Gray resin. These were the first minis that I've done (and painted) in resin. The "goblin" green was Citadel Contrast Plaguebearer washed with Citadel Nun Shade Oil. Reds and brown came from Citadel Contrast paints. A combination of Vallejo and Poly Acryl was used as well. This is the 32mm scale. Yes, I noticed the hair only after I had taken these pictures and put the minis back on the shelf! - 3d model

Diablo Bust (Pre - Wonderful model. I printed it in Elegoo Space Grey 8K on my Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra at 0.05mm layer height. The pre-supported model was easy to remove from the supports. I painted this mainly with Citadel Blood Red contrast paint and Vallejo black. The teeth and mouth were done with Vallejo red and Game Color bone. An application of Nun Shade Oil from Citadel was used for the face and a diluted Polly Acryl black was used as a wash on the rest of the body. The base also used some Polly Acryl and Vallejo Blood Red. - 3d model
