✏️ CUSTOM TEXT HOW-TO
- Open the multi color 3MF file in Bambu, Orca, or similar slicer software.
- On the left side toolbar, under Process, find and click Object.
- Find and select the corresponding text_shape object for the sign text.
- On the top toolbar, find and click the Text Shape tool.
- Use the tool options to type your desired text and modify font, size, etc.
For my prints, I used: • Mistral font • Font size 11 • 0.6 thickness
⚙️ PRINT SETTINGS • Nozzle Size: 0.40 mm • Layer Height: 0.20 mm or less • Outer Wall Width: 0.40 mm • Wall Generator: Classic • Wall Count: 3 walls • Infill: 10% to 15% (gyroid, adaptive cubic, or crosshatch)

Disappointed at the model quality. The back is crunchy. The bookstore model’s body is solid. Please increase the number of layers/length of the back of the pastry shoppe. Other than that, I think your idea of interchangeable fidget keycaps is brilliant.
I’m trying to find ways to reduce poop since I only have a single nozzle. People with multiple nozzles won’t have this issue. Do you have any advice? Thanks!
for this "crunchy" disappointment, i can say the thinnest distance along the entire back of the model is 3.6 mm, which is quite significant and plenty of room to increase the number of solid layers. i don't know what slicer settings you used, but i can at least say you will need to increase the number of bottom layers if you feel it's too "crunchy" or weak. also worth pointing out -- if by chance you printed using only 2 walls, increasing to 3 will also add a lot of needed rigidity
as for reducing poop on the multicolor keycaps, you can play with reducing purge ratios. you should see some success particularly if you're using lighter colors. outside of that, AMS based single nozzle systems changed the game four years ago but are falling behind now with the advancement in tech, so there isn't too much that can be done from a slicing perspective to save significant time/filament. i've personally moved entirely over to toolchangers like the snapmaker U1
