Minecraft Articulated Chicken

Minecraft Articulated Chicken - My winged army of world domination! Wings should be printed in a at least a PLA that has good z-axis tensile strength due to the way they attach being prone to breakage with weaker filaments. The rest of the parts are quite forgiving, and the design's tolerances seemed to work well on my well-tuned P2S. - 3d model

Ruler Fillet Gauge Multitool

Ruler Fillet Gauge Multitool - Printed on AD5X with 3 year old EconoFil white and Sunlu Black PLA. The octagram spiral texture made an interesting herringbone pattern on top with a star shape in the middle. Nice design, simple and elegant. I recommend using more infill or stiffer material as mine flexes quite a bit in PLA at this infill and thickness. Scaling it a little taller in slicer would also work. - 3d model

Multiboard Cable Clip

Multiboard Cable Clip - I couldn't help but feel like there needed to exist a larger version of this for my monitor + PC power cables. I've reconstructed Kevin's V1 clip and made it 2.4x the size of the original for a ~12mm opening. It still printed in place beautifully and threads in just like the original. Multiboard Cable Clip

Multiboard Cable Clip - Great design, I printed both versions without issue. It's the first cable clip I've printed for my giant Multiboard setup, and I like it enough that it might be the only one I bother to use. Both versions printed together used less than 8g of plastic, and finished in around an hour. - 3d model

2 CU

2 CU - While my settings weren't yet optimized for this filament, the print turned out well and 100% usable. The threads are a bit rough on one side, but they still work. I believe that these deficiencies are 100% due to my print settings, and not a result of inadequacies in the model. - 3d model

Clip Tool

Clip Tool - The clip tool shown has probably done over 100x installs / removals due to how many parts I've designed and tested. It's just now starting to wear out to where I am considering printing a replacement. It's worth spending the tiny bit of time and plastic printing this and it'll make your life easier especially when installing clips. If this was printed in something like Nylon or POM it would probably last forever. - 3d model

Dual Clip

Dual Clip - I've printed probably around 50 of these and they work fine. This is the only one I have that isn't in use. I've broken a total of 2 out of the 50ish due to repeatedly installing them into different parts and pulling them out with pliers etc. If you're struggling to install these: 1) Print the Clip Tool that is for handling these. 2) Try printing them in something like ABS or PETG that has a little flex. PLA doesn't flex, it just breaks. - 3d model

Westworld Control Unit Housing_Working Iris Box - Great model. I love compliant mechanisms, and the iris shutter is pretty high on the list. I may have scaled this up somewhat, I cannot remember. Either way, this should work fine as long as it isn't scaled down. Friendly reminder to those printing this that they'll need to pull off the tabs on the bottom of the print where the fins meet the base. They are required during printing to keep the fins stable, but they need to be separated from the fins before the mechanism will work. - 3d model
