I leveraged realifeonhold's Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock idea and rather than use a dimmer switch w/ Tasker control, I used a spare MiLight RGBW light bulb and Node-Red to control it.  

I had a spare globe light fixture installed by the builder from when we moved into our house.  It was slightly larger (123MM diameter) so I needed to scale the original design to 106.5% to fit and since my fixtures needed a ground, I included the plate from the original mount.  I cut the power cord off an old broken hot glue gun.

The flow for Node-Red was developed by strelniece and available here:  (http://flows.nodered.org/flow/ff0091dffe5b121e0663).  It uses MQTT to UDP to broadcast to a MiLight hub.  Adding inject nodes to MQTT out will allow you to schedule.  This flow changes colors from red to yellow to white over about 30 minutes.

I wanted to add a dimmer to control the LED lights in my Ikea Lack enclosure.

I purchased this:

I then wired it up to my 24v Prusa i3 MK3 power supply on one side and the 24v LED lights on the other.  

I recreated the original design in Sketchup with bigger dimensions to accommodate the controller.

After following Ben's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bcYB-0bctE DIY Automated Blinds, I wanted to replace the pieced together base with something more stable and better looking.  This is a self-designed housing for a MG995 servo and makes use of the G-Clamp from here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1673030

The pulley works well for pulling the blind cords when double looped.

I am using OctoPrint to drive my Qidi Tech I printer and wanted a way to mount my Raspberry Pi and Raspberry Pi camera (v1.3) to the printer.  I searched and found a lot of great cases and solutions but none of them quite fit the Qidi Tech and relied on additional materials.  

This solution hangs on the left handle - the RPi is exposed on the outside and the camera faces the bed through the glass - both are pressure fit with tight tolerances.  The text says OctoPrint and is included as a separate .stl for dual extrusion or optionally including.  

If I revisit I would probably make a more universal design to allow for mounting on either side or flipping the RPi to better route the USB and camera cables.  I am a novice at design so I welcome any feedback and/or advice on improvements but it fits securely and so far I am very happy with the solution.

Remixed (mimicked design but modeled from scratch) the door handles to accept 8mm disc magnets because that is what I had accessible.  The slots are drop in for 3 1mm magnets or 1 3mm magnet.  This avoids having to try and pressure fit or glue which was a bit of a disaster for me - messy, not straight, etc.

This remix also strengthens the base and enables the recommended screws to be inset.  Matching stop for the top is also included.

It is sized for 3mm plexiglass as outlined in the original.
