# Use supports

For the movable jaw versions of the shark, the teeth are too far apart when the model is scaled up. Use supports in your slicer to hold the upper jaw in place.

All 4 original versions available:

This remix has been run through Quadratic Edge Collapse Decimation in MeshLab to reduce the number of vertices while retaining the most true geometry. This was done to shrink the file size to under 25Mb, as Tinkercad has that upload size limit.

Kinetic visualizer pistons for a more discernibly active extruder, inspired by extruder visualizers from other designers. Reciprocating Engine built to attach to your direct dive extruder motor. Can also attach to any motor which has screw holes in the corners.

The engine block is held in place by circular tabs that press fit into the screw holes of standard NEMA 17 stepper motors. The fit should be tight so the assembly holds itself in place securely. If the mounting tabs don't fit in your motor, edit the tab size in Thingiverse Customizer.

The crankshaft requires a neodymium magnet to hold itself to the stepper motor shaft, **8 mm** diameter by **3 mm** tall.

Added pre-rendered cylinder configurations, one for each type, all with 0.3mm tolerances. Not including the propeller.

Added different cylinder configurations and a configurable propeller. These are not provided as pre-rendered STLs, make them in customizer. Choose these different cylinder numbers and angles:

* Single Cylinder
* V-Twin
* Flat Twin
* W Three

* 1-8 propeller blades

Added more versions with tighter tolerances. The original engine was rendered with 0.5 mm tolerances. Now choose between 0.5 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.2 mm and 0.1 mm tolerance. If you are unsure which one to choose, start with the 0.3 mm tolerance version.

Originally, this model was designed in OpenJSCAD. The `v-twin.jscad` file is now out of date and doesn't contain the new features of `engine.scad`. To customize the OpenJSCAD engine, load `v-twin.jscad` into the https://openjscad.org website and edit the parameters. Then choose an export format and click *Generate*, After that completes, click *Download*.

Thanks to Scobo for the beautiful, printable, [pine cone scan](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1494252). This pine cone is scaled down to 25mm height for use as earrings. It's top is sliced off, and a ring added for attaching hooks. No supports are needed as the features are so small.

If your magnet is too small, print a ring so it will fit in a larger hole.

Default size is:

* 5.5 mm inside diameter
* 8 mm outside diameter
* 2 mm height

This 1.25" closet rod holder has a split top with puzzle piece tabs to grip tightly against stretching forces. The two halves have tight tolerance and fit together snugly, no need for glue or screws.

Also included is an enclosed holder without the set screw hole in the bottom.

Remix of [AshTheMaker](https://www.thingiverse.com/AshTheMaker)'s beautifully simple Raspberry Pi 4 case. This adds some exhaust vents on the sides, and a built-in fan grill.

The grill is a separate shell inside the case top stl file. Split the part into 2 objects in your slicer. Then edit the grill printing parameters:

* Turn off the top and bottom layers.
* Change the infill pattern to something you like.
