I've done a few test cuts with it and...honestly I'm underwhelmed. I'm not sure if the issue is my blades, dxf2gcode's ability to create corner actions for dragknife, my settings in dxf2gcode, or just the nature of drag knifes in general. Even with corner actions I got very sloppy corners, and even the straight cuts weren't super straight because the 8mm bolt isn't a great fit in the bearings.
I'll probably do some more experimenting with gcode improvements and shiming the bolt so it fits tighter...but between my needle cutter, spindle, and laser I don't really need a drag knife like this. Just thought it may be fun as a quieter option than the needle and spindle without the smoke of the laser, but so far I'm not impressed. If you don't need sharp corners in what you're cutting and aren't trying to cut very thick material...it should be fine. But that doesn't cover the stuff I'm most interested in.
