Remix of the original foot pedal by Gripuf for the Xbox adaptive controller. This version hollows out the base and uses a micro Arduino Leonardo to act as the go-between. This is also effectively a re-mix code from David Madison who created the Arduino macro keyboard. 

The button needs to be soldered to pin 9 of the Arduino and the other pin of the button to one of the ground pins.

The pedal will appear as a HID Keyboard to Windows/Linux/MacOS and the code attached is set up to press the space bar. Although it can be anything really, including a macro. There is the possibility of adding more pedals by exposing the remaining pins on the Arduino as external connectors and using simplified mono 3.5m headphone jacks to connect them. Making the pedal with the Arduino act as the aggregator for the other pedals so they wouldn't need further electronics.

I created this for my sister-in-law after they rang me to ask about modifying a piano foot pedal to act as a space bar as she is having increasing problems pressing the spacebar due to early onset arthritis.

This is a simple cap made using TinkerCAD to fit a Colgate 100ml toothpaste pump cap. It just happens that the cap is just the right size for most HeroForge.com/DesktopHero3d.com figurines. 

This little cap simply pops onto the end of the toothpaste tube cap. Pop a little blue-tack into the bottom to secure your figurine and stop it rattling around in there and possibly getting damaged.

These parts are modifications of the originals that I struggled with during assembly. Plus a couple of joined up pieces for those able to use a larger printbed like the CR-10 and the CR-10 Max. 

The most important one is the charging handle bolt merge. Print this with a 5mm wall. This is to make the handle solid and able to take the punishment of being used. I used real springs in mine, which is probably why the handle broke (And the infill was only 20%) Printing with a 5mm wall means that the infill can be left at 20% but the walls completely fill the handle making it solid.

This is a remix of the original Motion Tracker Screen by DrMoribus. This has been altered to fit an SPI TFT 128*160 screen

The 1.8" screen means that the screen model is marginally larger than the original. There is enough space inside to accommodate a micro arduino to control the screen or the wires could be fed back into the main unit where you could hide a raspberry pi and a larger battery.

The original model was imported into TinkerCAD and modified from there. The complete TinkerCAD file export is in the zip file or you can search for it using the name "Terrific Snicket-Duup" on TinkerCAD and grab a copy from there. I've modelled the 1.8" screen and included a version with access to the SD card slot on the screen. It was exported as an STL and then the top/bottom parts were separated by using the "Split" function in Microsoft 3D Builder (Which also fixed the mesh)

Best printed with the edges flat onto the build plate. This ensures you get a nice flush fit between the top and bottom parts. I've also added two posts for an m4 bolt or screw to secure the parts together instead of gluing them.

This is an additional cap to my original, except this one is thicker and has a hole in the bottom to accept the top of a cap. Take a look at the photo's. The bottom is chamfered so you know which way up it needs to be.

The fit is nice and snug, so they feel firm and secure. 

This is just really good for transporting small numbers of figurines, or keeping paired figurines together.
