TIER1 (Access to exclusive models for personal use)

Access & Use: While you have an active TIER1 subscription, you may download, display, and 3D-print the Models for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

No Redistribution: You may not redistribute or share the Original Elements (models, decorative parts, brand assets, or any other proprietary material) in any form during or after your subscription without explicit written permission from Henning Gross.

OSM-Derived Geometry Notice: Any portion of the 3D Models derived from OSM data (“OSM-Derived Geometry”) is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0. You must comply with the ODbL terms for the OSM-Derived Geometry, including attribution of OSM and its contributors and the right to redistribute the OSM-Derived Geometry under ODbL. This license for Original Elements does not override your ODbL rights or obligations for the OSM-Derived Geometry.

Duration: Your right to access new downloads and updates is tied to an active TIER1 subscription. Once your subscription ends, you must delete or destroy any copies of the Original Elements that you have not already printed, or that you do not need for your ongoing personal prints. However, your ODbL rights to the OSM-derived Geometry persist in perpetuity (as per ODbL).

TIER2: Access to exclusive models and commercial use
$19.00

TIER2 (Commercial Use License)

Access & Use: While you have an active TIER2 subscription, you may download and 3D-print the Models for commercial purposes, meaning you may sell physical 3D-printed copies of the Models.

No Resale of Files: You may not sell, redistribute, or share the Original Elements (including the 3D model files, frames, or brand assets) in digital form. You may only sell or transfer the physical prints of the Models as allowed by this TIER2 license during your active subscription.

OSM-Derived Geometry Notice: If the Models contain OSM-Derived Geometry, that portion remains under ODbL. Nothing in this license can remove or limit your (or any recipient’s) ODbL rights to that geometry. You must still provide OSM attribution on any commercial product or listing where the OSM-Derived Geometry is a significant component.

Duration: Your rights to use the Original Elements for commercial purposes only last while you maintain an active TIER2 subscription. Once the subscription lapses, you must cease producing new commercial prints of the Original Elements. You retain any perpetual ODbL rights to the OSM-Derived Geometry if applicable, but you must not use the Original Elements in new commercial products after your subscription ends.

Whether a specific model can be used for commercial purposes will be clearly stated in the model details.

3D printable topographic miniature of Vancouver

Capture the beauty of Vancouver's city landscape with this topographic miniature! This 3D model represents the geographic area around the geo coordinates 49.280, -123.126 (LatLng).

It is scaled down from a geographic area of around 3.306 km x 3.297 km to a 3D printable miniature in the dimensions of 200.0 mm x 200.0 mm. The scale from the geographic area (10.900 sq km) to the miniature is approximately ~16530:1.

The terrain is modeled from geographic data for realistic terrain representation. Ideal for educational purposes, architectural visualization, or as a decorative piece.

Included Frames:
  • 220.20 x 220.20 x 10.30 mm, text engraving "Vancouver", with hanging holes
  • 208.20 x 208.20 x 9.80 mm, no text engraving, with hanging holes
  • 220.20 x 220.20 x 9.80 mm, no text engraving, with hanging holes
Recommended Print Settings:
  • The provided print profiles provide specific (multicolor & single color) settings for the Miniature and the appropriate frame(s).
  • The print profile includes two highly specialized print profiles "classic" and "arachne". For optimal results, use "arachne" (note: expect long slicing times).
Assembly:
  • Gently put the miniature into the frame. Depending on your printer's calibration, that should be enough to hold the miniature.
  • If in doubt, use some super glue. For PLA, I use this glue* (thick variant). I experienced best results with glue that contains Ethyl-2-cyanacrylat.
  • Hanging Holes: My frames always have a hole pattern divisible by 10 mm - for this miniature's size the "Hanging Hole Distance" results in 80 mm between holes.
