My boy managed to lose one of the shelf supports from our Ikea TV unit. It just bounced and rattled away, never to be seen again.

Having just bought a resin printer and not being able to find anywhere online to buy these, I designed some replacements myself.

I couldn't believe how much it cost for a lazy susan that fell to bits when I took the shrink wrap off, has to be carried very carefully and sticks badly once every revolution, so I bought my first ever 3 inch lazy susan bearings from Quality Bearings Online. This is an important plot point.

Realising it would be impossible to attach them to two circles of wood, I designed the lazy susan foot I have uploaded here. It just spiraled fom there. My original intention was to use mine for spraying so a lot of these parts are designed with overspray in mind.

I then went on to make parts that were intended for a less dusty environment and could be lighter, but I haven't printed all of these yet.

It's worth mentioning that I designed this round a standard downpipe that I had already been using on the above mentioned nasty lazy susan for spraying cosplay helmets.

Last, and very important, It appears that the 3" lazy susan bearings that are all over Amazon are a different size to the only ones I ever owned. Mine is 75mm x 75mm not 71x71. It also seems to hold twice the weight.

Someone nice could maybe comment on what print size percentage works for these and meanwhile I'll draw a short bit of downpipe and upload it here so it can be size adjusted too.

19/10/2021 - added the downpipe file and an eyebolt that I used with the "fixtures" file that I attached to the roof of my spray booth.

Lazy Susan / Spray Paint Turntable

I printed the Broken Nerd's Mandalorian helmet.

Any video I watched on visor making told me to hold a piece of paper in there and poke a pencil in to trace the slots while trying not to puncture the paper and the flesh of your hand.

I decided to plaster the inside of the helmet with duct tape, draw it properly and then flatten and build a stencil.

The stencil can then be resized to whatever ratio you use when printing your own helmet.

My full size ATX motherboard mounting plate. It strictly follows official ATX specifications and fits nicely with my I/O shield.
My preferred version houses 5mm brass bolts that accept screws rather than the version that takes standoffs.
The original version included mounts for the ATX 2.2 Hole R and Hole S, but upon printing it, I found my Sabertooth board had heatsink screws underneath it that interfered with these and I had to break them off. This latest version therefore does away with those mounts in favour of screwholes for optional standoffs. Best of both worlds.

This is my motherboard I/O shield and PCI backplate, designed to fit in a wooden box for my PC in a desk project. My version assumes 9 or 10mm plywood walls.

**I have added a version for anyone who wants to attach it internally. This second version has a 1mm clearance with screwholes instead of a 10mm push-through length.**

Although I'm uploading it before I've printed this particular version myself, the prototype's dimensions were perfect except for the thickness of the walls between the PCI slots that *may* have prevented some plugs from reaching their ports.
This fits exactly with my motherboard mounting plate and is designed strictly around ATX specifications with regards to distance from chassis floor etc. so in theory it it is compatible with any other.

This is my DVD-ROM sized device for sliding whatever I want into a five and a quarter inch bay.
I decided the front panel of my PC-in-a-desk project might as well be fully PC case compatible so I created the 'General Purpose' version above and then turned it into the 'Recessed Docker' version to protect my power buttons.

There is one set of holes to hold a 3.5" HDD and another set for a 2.5" drive. Since two 2.5" drives would fit, I made a platform for that and will probably make other accessories as they come up.

Another design for my PC-in-a-Desk project. This is just a bracket to cover a hole I'll cut in the box and hold the PSU in place. I've kept it extremely simple because I don't know yet what way I'll orient the PSU. It may be on the floor with the fan pointing up or it may sit on its side. In view of this I made a vertical bracket for the back end and there are horizontal brackets on Thingiverse already.

After printing this and taking the photo on here, I realised my plywood is 12mm, not 9mm so I tweaked the design after that photograph but before uploading the STL.

I decided that the quickest way to make a Mandalorian leather apron was to cut out the shapes from packing foam and glue some cheap reclaimed leather over them, so I screen-grabbed a picture and loaded it into Freecad to make these stencils.

I've made them all into single pieces in case it transpires that I want to print them some day, but if you are doing what I did, you can save yourself some plastic and time by only printing the ones in the picture.

I spaced these about 7mm (quarter inch) apart and made an apron that's just about 30cm wide for my son.
