A famous man once said "Stop asking for STL's on random objects; people don't live to make every BS thing you want into a 3D printable format. If you want it, make it yourself, and if you want to share it, that's your prerogative."

We should all bask in this man's glorious wisdom.

while I don't think its anyone's responsibility to work for free for provide a service they don't want to. It is not unreasonable to people to expect the most common and accessible file type to be available somewhere or at some point in the future. I'm not saying you have to, or that you should. but this community trades mainly in .stl. I know it has its limitations and other formats are better for different applications. but many people think of this as "stl.website" so just be aware of the audience your playing to

G'day hobbes! Thank you for your comment :) This "thang" was made as a joke (satire, sarcasm) a couple of years ago, directed at a guy on facebook who had this attitude, hehe.

My opinion on this matter - I love creating STL files for others to enjoy, I'm quite happy to create an STL for anything that people want :)

Also normalize reading the description of an item before asking in the comments, it literally says it right there!
