This is the initial version of the Glinda wand from Wicked that we created. There is a 12mm rod included in the file, but we recommend buying a 12mm acrylic rod so it will be clear. File includes 2 different versions of the core, as well as 3 variations on the "spikes" If not using battery powered LEDs, You can glue or fuse the wand to the head. You only need either the 12-15mm collar taper OR the style version depending on how you would like your wand to look. Most things should scale except for the LED holder. There is a limit on how small the posts for the spikes can realistically get. We are also releasing a larger version that uses larger rods. You can find appropriate rods by searching "12mm acrylic rod" on your retail site of choice. You will need to print A LOT of spikes, pick the style you want and print a test batch to ensure they fit in the holes of your core. Not all printers print the same, variation in the Z axis may mean you need to scale the core or spikes a little. They should be snug to prevent falling out, but you may not want to glue them in as they can break and need replaced. The instructions are for the larger version of the wand, but can still provide guidance on the LED and assembly. A connector to use 2 acrylic rods has been added in the files section for those who would like to create a longer version. If you just reduce the length of the spikes, you can make a more compact head, more inline with the movie version. Shorter versions of the spikes has been added.
