The adapter is designed to be used in a 3.5" (LFF) bay, fitting a 2.5" (SFF) SATA/SAS HDD/SSD drive. The interface connectors of the 2.5" drive will be positioned where the connectors of the 3.5" drive would be.

It has all the mounting holes that are physically accessible:
- 3 on the left side of the LFF part
- 1 on the right side of the LFF part
- 1 on the bottom of the LFF part
- 2 of the left side of the SFF part

It is designed to be lightweight and use little filament but still be rigid, the print needs around **24 grams / 8 meters** of 1.75 mm filament. No supports needed.

I have added several versions:
- **…_threaded_insert_4.00mm** - the LFF part has holes for [M3x3,00 Threaded Insert by CNC Kitchen](https://cnckitchen.store/products/gewindeeinsatz-threaded-insert-m3-short-100-stk-pcs) that fits the [M3 round head short and long PC screw](https://digitalmasta.com/a-guide-on-motherboard-screws-and-pc-mounting-hardware/), as shown in the pictures
- **…_threaded_insert_3.85mm** - same as above but slightly adjusted
- **…_threaded_insert_4.00mm** - same as above but slightly adjusted
- **…_hole_3.25mm** - with a 3.25 mm hole for mounting it directly with a [6-32 large screw](https://digitalmasta.com/a-guide-on-motherboard-screws-and-pc-mounting-hardware/)
- **…_hole_2.75mm** - same as above but slightly adjusted
- **…_hole_3.00mm** - same as above but slightly adjusted
- **…_hole_3.50mm** - same as above but slightly adjusted

I have included a **test fit model** to test which version you need to print with your printer for your screws, without printing the whole adapter.

I have also included the **FreeCAD source files**, so you can adjust the model to your specific needs. I used the Spreadsheet function of FreeCAD, all the important parameters are driven from a single sheet.

Note: when you mount it without the threaded insert the screw will degrade the plastic so after a few mount-unmount cycle it may become too loose for the screw. I recommend using the threaded inserts.

Mini measuring cups, designed in FreeCAD.

3D files (STL) and source files (FCStd) for all models: 1 ml, 2 ml, 3 ml, 4 ml, 5 ml, 6 ml, 7 ml, 8 ml, 9 ml, 10 ml cups.

Each cups have two lines on the inner part, liquid should touch those lines.

Exact volume might differ due to differences in printers and materials. I printed with PLA on and Ender 3 Pro, it was working fine. Please doublecheck if in doubt.

A replacement spindle for the yarn winder, it is 120 mm long (the original one is 82.5 mm long).

Helps to wind larger balls, created to prevent the slipping of yarn when the ball gets too big.

**For SLA/resin printing**: it can be printed directly on build plate (I added grooves to the bottom to prevent suction cup), without supports (no steep overhangs).

**For FDM printing**: I haven't tried but should work. Should work without supports (no steep overhangs).

**Compatible products**:
- KnitPro Ball Winder Wool Winder (tried it)
- Hobbii Yarn Winder (possibly, seems to be identical product)

v3: the version I printed and I am using, however it is a bit of a tight fit.
v4: the same as v3 but the bottom is 0.5 mm smaller in diameter. I haven't printed it yet!

A stronger shelf hook for the IKEA Mulig clothes drying rack.

The rack arrived with one hook broken so I modeled it and added some extra support to improve its strength. I also included the original version in the files.

You can probably print it on its side without support.
