Upon looking fondly at your worn-out maker face, do you every feel a wistful longing for unnecessarily aggressive topology splattered upon that leathery skin?

Because I certainly do.

I can now introduce the chainmail mask - a print in place fashion/cosplay accessory unrivalled in conversation-starting potential.

Print either the small or large version (I'm 14, so I made the small version for my fizzog) with 0.2mm layer heights and 100% infill twice - once for each cheek. No support or bed adhesion is needed in the slicer, just some glue stick and a good deal of attentiveness to the first layer! Then, print the 20 little clippable links, which must be clipped through the main links on the edges of each chainmail side. There is also the possiblity of melting them together with a soldering iron in order to prevent them unclipping.

Subsequently, use a little standard mask elastic tied around the links at the two points of the back of each cheek section (exemplified in the showcase model) to tighten it around your ears. If you wish, you could sew this to actual fabric such that it could serve a practical purpose as a mask.

I'm quite pleased with the finish of this chainmail link design, so I've given also a solo link model that you can multiply into whatever weird and wonderful shapes you desire.

Anyway, good luck with your projects. #HalloWearable #HalloWearables
