Queen of Hearts IQ is a mecanum-drive double disc vertical spinner made for the 15-pound MiniIQ class. Its 4 wheels, each individually driven by a Repeat Drive Max, give it unique omnidirectional maneuverability in the same footprint as a traditional tank-steered rectangular combat robot. A Turnigy XK3674 inrunner belt drives its 3.75lb 6" AR500 and 6061 aluminum double disc to a 300mph tip speed to achieve a rotational kinetic energy of 4 kilojoules. The entire robot is encased in 6061 aluminum of varying thicknesses, with a layer of AR500 steel mounted at a 35-degree angle acting as frontal intake.
