Hi :)

My name is Javier Serra and thanks to my passion for design and 3D printing I created my own studio: creaserra

I am currently an industrial design and mechanical engineering student based in Madrid.

My goal is to create functional models that benefit from the advantages offered by FDM technology, to share them with you, as well as to learn about this new manufacturing method and develop my skills as a designer, always taking into account the environment. OMEGA Planters 3d model

OMEGA is a family of 3D printable planters for indoor or outdoor use, characterised by their aesthetically pleasing wavy shapes that also allow interaction between them.

The wavy shape of the 8 different types of cylindrical planters (4 sizes in each series) allows the full circumference connection between the different models to form modular structures for your plants and thus adapt to the space of your home.

The sizes are (the usual sizes for plant pots):

● 10.5 cm diameter x 9 cm high. ● 12 cm diameter x 11 cm high ● 14 cm diameter x 13 cm height ● 16 cm diameter x 15 cm high

There are two series, the ALPHA series and the BETA series. Within each series each size of planter fits together with two other sizes from the same series and with two other sizes from the opposite series. For example, ALPHA 2 (second size of the alpha series) can be connected to ALPHA 1, ALPHA 3, BETA 2 and BETA 4.

You can also use them as vases or decorative elements - there are no limits to your imagination (you can even stack them on top of each other).

3D PRINTING PARAMETERS For all the models (being solid) you have to modify the infill to 0 and in the shell section of the slicer indicate the following parameters:

Top layers: 0 Bottom Layers: 5 (minimum to ensure watertightness) Wall line count: 3 (We recommend a layer height of about 0.2 mm and matte PLA for a better finish)
