creaserra

Hi :)

My name is Javier Serra and thanks to my passion for design and 3D printing I created my own studio: creaserra

I am currently an industrial design and mechanical engineering student based in Madrid.

My goal is to create functional models that benefit from the advantages offered by FDM technology, to share them with you, as well as to learn about this new manufacturing method and develop my skills as a designer, always taking into account the environment. Follow me on my path and let's keep creating together!

Vase design : Bottle model

Ideal for home decoration, besides being a useful vase to place flowers or whatever you want.

Inspired by a curious geometry that resembles the shape of a water bottle.

Its parametric shape has been designed in Rhinon3D using Grasshopper.

3D PRINTING PARAMETERS For the model you have to set the following parameters in the slicer program (I used Cura): Filling: 0% No support No adhesion Layer height: 0.2 mm Upper layers: 0 Bottom layers: 5 (minimum) Wall line count: 3 (minimum) Nozzle size: 0.4 mm Nozzle temperature: 200ºC Shrinkage: Yes

*To increase tightness Increase the number of walls, decrease the printing speed and increase the height of the layers.

**You can also try the vase mode if you have a larger nozzle (>0.4mm), increasing the temperature (+5ºC) and decreasing the printing speed (<30 mm/s).
