A simple modification to the Voron 0 front left skirt to include a 1.3" OLED SH1106 display that connects directly to the Mini SKR.


These are the config settings for Klipper:

Wiring summary is also in the comment above, you may need to adjust the vcomh to remove vertical streaming which is a common problem on this display.

Voron 0 Front Left Skirt With SH1106 1.3" OLED

The idea here was to get as close to the nozzle as possible, in this case it is roughly 14mm Y offset from the nozzle.

I used the m3 grub screws with nylon inserts (see the image) to prevent scratching the body of the dial indicator, although in the main picture a cap head M3 screw is shown.

The indicator 'mitre' joint might be a bit tight initially, you need to slide it up and down until it moves smoothly.

After mounting it to the head with 2x M3 x 40 screws, you can adjust the angle of the probe and slide up/down to adjust the height so that it's just below the nozzle height.

I then created 1/2 dozen macros to move to the bed-screws position using the Y 14mm offset, I have not tested yet but probably the BED_SCREWS_ADJUST can be used by modifying the coordinates to allow for the 14mm Y offset.

It worked great for me, I was able to get pretty much zero error at the 3 points, however the magnetic bed is not flat and it would also be possible to do a manual bed mesh using this setup, but I have not got around to that yet.

Voron 0.1 with MAB Dial Indicator Mount

I remove the hotend cover on the CR6 quite often and wanted a faster way of securing and removing the cover.

A M3 x 16 screw nut is required, screw it into the threaded end, cut off the head and file around the end to remove burrs.

I concluded that the Tophat was just not quite tall enough to prevent the umbilical and reverse bowden from pressing against the top panel when at Y120, rear of bed.

I found that if I made the umbilical slightly shorter, then, when the head was at Y0 front-of-bed, it would pull the top of the head backwards.

And if I made it longer to prevent this pulling of the head, then when at Y120, the top of the umbilical loop would press hard against the top panel.

For the riser panels, they were really intended to be acrylic sheet, but you can also print them. I have included a .dxf as well as .stl file for the side panels so you cut them from acrylic or print them.

Riser Corners A & B need a M3x4 brass insert if you want to secure the Tophat to it.

1. Removed the Locking Tabs from the Corners

Voron 0.1 Tophat Riser

A simple clip-on magnetic bed alignment solution for the Voron 0.1.

I always seem to fiddle about trying to get the magnetic bed to align with the magnet, and designed this solution.

It simply clips over the M3 Locknuts on the underside of the bed and slides in from the side.

Should also work on the original Voron 0.

Added version 2 which is 0.5mm longer and makes it easier to locate the magnetic bed.

Voron 0.1 Magnetic Bed Guides

This adds a 4mm diameter hole to accept the bowden tube and provide strain relief for both the cables and the PTFE tube going to the print head.

Current version has the following changes:

1) makes the cable tie slots wider
2) pushes out the cable-side face by 2mm
3) makes the 4mm bowden tube hole enclosed.

Voron 0.1 Cable & Bowden Strain Relief

A simple strain relief for the CR6.

This screws to the Print Head Ribbon Cable Connector using M3 x 8 countersink screws.

It supports the ribbon cable as well as keeping the Bowden tube vertical where it enters the retainer.

CR-6 Cable & Boden Support

This is my design for a non-slip Tnut for the Voron-0 1515 extrusions.

Other designs I have tried worked but did not stay where I put them, I don't know if that was because my extrusion slots were oversized.

Uses a standard M3 Square nut.
