One of my favorite hobbies, fishing! I've got a whole collections of rods, reels, and baits calling my name this summer. I don't have as much time to fish like I used to but fishing is one of those activities where I always find joy, love for creation, and inner peace. The thrill of the hunt, focus, and determination to find the bite and set the hook! I just love it! I've enjoyed showing my young kids fishing and I believe they are finding a love for it too. I once called a bass that my daughter (3) and I caught a "spunky bass" so of course she nicknamed this model "Spunky Bass." She says it every time she sees it 🤣

On this realistic model I wanted to ensure that the huge head of a bass as well as the chunky belly were featured so I needed to have a couple supports with this model. The tail specifically needed some supports if I wanted it all to be anatomically correct.

Fun Bass Factoids! Largemouth bass are ambush predators with huge mouths that can swallow prey nearly half their own size, including fish, frogs, crayfish, and even small birds or mice. They have a special sensory system called a lateral line that helps them feel vibrations in the water, making it easier to detect movement from prey even in murky conditions. Largemouth bass can change their hunting strategy based on the season — in warm months they often chase prey in shallow water, while in colder months they slow down and move deeper where the temperature is more stable.
