**The Articulating Koi Fish**

There are 2 Versions:

Version 1: This version has the whiskers sculpted into the side of the.  Probably most appropriate if the Koi Fish will be handled a lot and you worry about the whiskers breaking. 

Version 2: This version has the whiskers print separately, and then glue into place afterwards.  Has a better 3D look, but they may be likely to break if it will be handled a lot.  Great if the print will just be on display.

**Here Are the Settings I Used to Print:**
Nozzle: 0.4
Layer Height: 0.20
Supports: None
Scaling:  The model can be scaled up as big as you'd like, but may not work too well if scaled down much.  I haven't tested it yet, but the articulations aren't that big so scale down at your own risk.  I may work to create another version that can be scaled down if there is enough interest. 

Both versions print in place with no supports needed.  If you print version 2, just insert the whiskers into the holes in the side of the head afterwards.  If they are a little snug, trim down with flush cutters to fit.  Rather too snug than not tight enough.

This is a light up wand. you will need 1 led, a 6mm momentary button, 2 AAA battery's, 2 springs and some insulated 24 gauge wire. you may also need a resistor depending on the led you use.  YOU WILL NEED A SOLDERING IRON.

This model was inspired by the way a cat's torso lengthens when it is carried in the arms (like Longcat meme). Finally, the model was finished with a high degree of flexibility, allowing it to curl up and lean back in a variety of poses. There are two types of models: a standard length and a long type, which is the same as when the cat is stretched out in the arms. Choose whichever you like and hug the cat!

The Moth can extend its wings from 70[mm] to 105[mm] = approximately 2.75 inches to 4.13 inches

*UPDATE - V2 changes a few small things for lil Bitsy the Spider!*
       
1. I've widened the area between the leg joint and the joint walls. There should not be any more fusing going from the legs/ walls touching.
2. Lowered the polygons a bit for people printing multiples.

I've wanted to do this one for awhile. FOLLOW me for more like it because...I'M NOT DONE with this guy! 

I'm thinking top hat, santa hat, moustache, 90's grunge? Anyone? FUZZIER! SOPHISTCATED-ER!

This itsy spider named "Bitsy" is my attempt at creating a cute articulated jumping spider. What's even cooler is the ability of this lil' guy to fully articulate his pair of four legs all the way around his bottom and they can touch toes together. I've even got him to hang on to a piece of string with no glue or tape! YMMV with that one...

I have been loving the craze centered around these fuzzy little adorable inntelligent creatures. I never knew spiders could be so...personable. So here is my homage, in lieu of owning a tiny arachnid myself. (Read my post [HERE](https://than.gs/p/4346) for more fun info on jumping spiders) 

Included in the .3mf is a fully painted a1 project & a1 mini project. The STL files are single object files, used for printing in single colors. The blue spiders in my photos are painted eyeballs. FYI.

These little fuzzy mandible spouting spiders are divided into several parts, that can all be colored separately in the .3mf. Body, left and right sets of four legs, head, large eyes, large eye accent, small eyes, small eye accent, and mandibles can each be selected as a different color.

I recommend .16mm layer height, 3 walls and at least 10% infill, if not more to stiffen up those tiny little joints.

There are a small and a big version of this file.
I recommend the big version. It's worth the Filament! They are absolutely the same except for their sizes.

**You need:**
All 14 individual Gears
1 Heart
14 Connectors.
There are "All" File that have everything you need for a full assembly.
There is also a tool that helps with putting in the connectors.

**Print Settings:**
You can use Standard settings for all parts. I used a brim on the Gears to prevent them from toppling over. No supports needed.

Light off delay can be helpful to let resin drip from links.

Proper bottom exposure tuning is recommended. Models, particularly in clear resins, can suffer from overexposure and fused links. The Ameralabs Town
testing is highly recommended to tune your settings as to get proper articulated prints! Exposure varies greatly between resins, printers, and environments.
