Fairly simple, but I couldn't find any decent existing models.

Note that this is **not a true stack**, since tangential spheres are obviously difficult (impossible?) to print. So, this is just the outer layer of cannonballs with an inner, solid pyramid as the support structure, which I think still looks pretty realistic at small scale.

The base/frame is separate geometry, which can be separated via “split” operation in most slicers, if you want to print with a different filament/color, which I recommend.

Single-piece adapter for mounting a Sony E-Mount camera to a 1.25" tube (e.g. insert directly into star diagonal)

Thanks to [this](https://grabcad.com/library/e-mount-to-m42x0-75-female-t2-adaptor-1) model/designer for the e-mount geometry.

Designed for and tested with a Sony a6000 and Celestron NexStar 5SE, but should work with most E-Mount cameras and telescopes with 1.25" optics.

- I used PETG, but I'm sure PLA will work too.
- Print with the tube face down (as positioned in the file)
- Supports should not be needed
- Use ironing to make the surfaces that mate against the camera as smooth as possible.
- Take advantage of variable layer heights to reduce print time (the main tube is just a plain cylinder, which can use a larger layer height. But the mount side should be as precise as possible)
- Post-processing: Be sure to thoroughly clean up any stringing, dangling bits of filament, etc. You don't want little pieces of plastic getting into your camera or telescope optics
