Here’s another of my plant pot cover projects, and this time it features a cool "twist and click" mechanism to lock the drip tray in place. I know there are a ton of similar designs out there, but I wanted to create something unique! So, I developed this rotating fastening system, and I’m super excited to share it with you.
The design has two parts:
🌿 220624-05-001-TRAY – a drip tray that saves your plants from overwatering.
🌿 220624-05-002-PLANTER – the main cover where you place your pot, with drainage holes to let excess water flow out safely into the tray.
The "twist and click" mechanism gives a satisfying resistance when you turn the cover, so you know it’s securely in place.
The cover is 130 mm in diameter and 90 mm high. Just a heads-up: if you scale it, the clip might not work as smoothly!
