Magic the Gathering: Chaos Orb Deck Box
Project is a Work in Progress. I recently got into magic and have been obsessed with printing off different deck boxes. After seeing the handmade Chaos Orb deck box created by Leifkicker, I set out to create my own using 3D Printing. This deck box aims to bring Mark Tedin’s timeless Chaos Orb painting to your tabletop! It features two storage compartments. The main one being 95mm x 90mm x 69mm (LxWxH) which is large enough to hold a double sleeved 100 card commander deck. With the secondary compartment being designed to hold 12 d6 counters, some token cards, and other small accessories. The secondary compartment has two levels two it; the bottom level (designed to hold 12 d6) is 65mm x 50mm x 17mm (LxWxH), the top level (designed for tokens, and one of the Magic Life Wheels) is 95mm x 80mm x 22mm (LxWxH). The three sections of the deck box are held together with 18 10mm x 2.6mm magnets I got on Amazon. Another three are recommended for the stand hole on the bottom of the OrbBottom file, one for the 30mm stand, and one the 99mm stand.

Printing Tips: General, The Magnet holes are designed to allow the magnets to be pressure fitted, however as a result the tolerances could be too tight for some printers. Mine printed just fine but this might not be the case for everyone, The magnet holes are .1mm larger than the magnets, if you're unsure if your printer can do this you should print the magnet test file to check. This is a large print, at 15% adaptive cubic infill on all parts, it took me about 800 grams of PLA for all parts.
OrbBottom, Printed upside down at .2mm with supports
OrbMiddle, Printed upside down at .2mm with supports
OrbTop, Printed at .2mm, supports could be optional depends on your printers bridging abilities, I used supports to be safe. Stands, Printed at .24mm, you might need to consider a brim for the 99mm one especially if you're using a bed slinger.
