Tatami Textured Stamp

This is a clay modeling tool used to imprint the texture of a Japanese tatami mat into your pieces.

This was a model created for a customer, Gary Ervin, and posted with their permission in order to make the texture available for other makers who may need it. The texture had to be modeled by hand, because the detail here was too fine for any scanners I had available to me.

This was designed to be printed on an SLA resin printer but feel free to try your luck on an FDM machine.
