🌸 Abstract (Line) Flower 🌼

🌸 Abstract (Line) Flower 🌼

Hello my dears! 😃 For this design, I was inspired by the artistic figures made with the wire technique, playing with perspective. I tried to create these flowers by trying to give creativity to the shapes that form them, emerging in an elegant and sinuous way. The petals unfold playfully and spontaneously, the delicate stems intertwine harmoniously, the delicate, curved leaves embrace the flowers as if in a tender embrace 🌼 The same flower, viewed from the side, reveals a different and new perspective and form. The thread is woven in such a way that it can somehow give the impression of representing a face (have an open and creative mind and you will see it). Let me know if you are interested in having more designs like this! This design is not the easiest or the most immediate to print, and requires several precautions to ensure success. Let's just say it can be used as an excellent stress test for both the printer and you, haha. But don't worry, if I can do it, so can you! Here's some printing tips (get ready for a long text lol) I also included the Bambu projects in the folder so you can see the parameters and orientation I used for my two prints. Each of the two flowers was printed with exactly the same settings, but with two different orientations, to see which of the two might have a better print result, and to see which of the two might have the "easiest" support removal. Obviously, both orientations (vertical, which is the standard/default one, and tilted) have a large number of supports due to the design's structure, so arm yourself with a lot of patience before you start removing them. Below are photos of the two pieces with the supports still in place: I find them kinda attractive and aesthetic, don't you think so? 😁 The final result you can get depends on several factors. For example, not all filaments have the same structure and some may be more "suitable" than others. Some can be more "rubbery" (like the Bambu Lab Galaxy PLA I used for my prints). Being "rubbery" means that the filament has more resistance and therefore tends to break less easily during the removal. However, this can also be a negative aspect, as it takes longer to remove the supports due to that characteristic. On the other hand, if the filament (like some silk PLA, for example like Eryone's Silk Gold PLA) turns out to be more "cracky" and less "resistant" when you remove the supports, then they may be easier to remove, but they may also cause some problems, like the piece to break, so I advise you to be careful. To be on the safe side, both to understand how your filament behaves (which of the two "types" it belongs to) and to get familiar with removing the supports, I advise you not to print the entire piece right away, but rather print a part of the design first (for example, like an half of it) and make your considerations before embarking on this long "journey" (like when you print a tolerance test before printing a complete piece that has joints or parts that have to match each others). Of course, if you have a printer that allows you to print with 2 different types of filament (such as AMS or MMU, etc.) and you have the possibility, I would recommend using a water-soluble PVA filament (such as Bambu Lab PVA), which is used precisely for printing complex pieces that have a large number of supports. In this case, you shouldn't have any problems and you'll also get a print that doesn't have any imperfections. The same goes if you have a resin printer. Even in this case, despite the mandatory presence of supports, you shouldn't have any major problems with their removal. I hope this long explanation might be useful and helpful for you ☺️ Supports needed. Please refer to the File Tips.txt included in the folder and the text in this post before printing it.
