**Design Concept Description:**

These Lids are the reinforced version of [Blank Insert Lids](https://than.gs/m/1118341) are compatible with [Double Lip Corrugated Gridfinity Light Bins. ](https://than.gs/m/1113946)
Use these Lids with heavier items or with bigger bins.

They click in place and they are not that hard to remove when upgrading your gridfinity system. Feel free to use and modify them with your tool cutouts 😉

This system makes the gridfinity bins even more economical and reusable, this design breaks the solid bin in two parts: the empty bin and an insert(lid).
In this way, whenever you change or upgrade any tool, you can now just reprint the custom insert lid and keep the body of the bin instead of throwing the whole module away. This saves you a ton of plastic and so the system becomes even more flexible in the future.

**Tips & Benefits:**

When the lid is snapped in place the whole solid bin is now backwards compatible (stackable) with all gridfinity bins.
Because the lids are printed separately, you can now make them in different colors.
If you print the lids facing down, you can add texture to the lid surface.
Use a wooden ice-cream stick to pry open the lid, when you change them and start in the middle of the longest side.

**Print Settings:**

These models were printed on Prusa MK3 with Generic PLA.

### Instructions
1. Push M3 nuts into the slots on handles or knobs.  
2. Slide the faceplate into position on your GEN2 Decor Drawer.  
3. Insert an M3 screw from inside the drawer, through the faceplate, and into the handle’s nut to secure it in place.  

*Note:* Some handle designs include self-tapping screw versions, so M3 nuts are not always required.

### Slicing Tips
Both 3MF and STL files are included.  
- The 3MF file is pre-sliced and ready to print (just select your printer).  
- When using the STL file, split it into parts for multi-color printing.  
- Works in PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, and similar slicers.  
- Prints face down for textured build plates or face up—no supports required.

This drawer features a modular face allowing you to install customizable faceplates on the front that you can change at any time. It also lets you print the majority of the drawer with less expensive material and use only your most precious filaments on the faceplate.
