Toiletry Holder Assembly Final

Here is my entry for this month's DIY don't buy challenge. This is a completely 3D printable Toiletry holder which can be printed in 3 parts. 
I have seen a lot of such stuff selling in shops at a very high price so thought that this is something which can be made at home itself.

The first part is the main body which has holes for mounting as well as drainage holes at the bottom and sides.

Secondly, there is a lid which can fit on the main body with 3 holes for toothbrushes and a bigger slot for stuff like toothpaste.

There is also a separate side holder which can be printed and can slide onto the main body from the top. Provisions have been made in the design to securely hold it.

The final assembly can either be placed on a surface or mounted to the wall.
Appropriate clearances have been provided.

Gear Shaped Fidget Spinner

These are 3 versions of fidget spinners printed in place with ball bearings. All of them have worked great and the clearances in each of them are 0.5 mm radially.

They are quite a fun toy to play and fidget with. The infill can be kept custom but I highly recommend using a Raft.

We have all played or at least heard of Among us in the past year and it surely was a fun little game. The two sides in the game were the crewmates, and the imposters, who disguised themselves among the crewmates.

This is what made me want to design this print-in-place model of an innocent-looking crewmate, who in a split second can turn into an imposter with a big deadly tongue. 

There are multiple print in place parts in this design, the main one being the mouth of the character.

The mouth has two functions:
1. To hide the imposter's tongue to disguise as a crewmate.
2. As an actual box or container of sorts to hold small things like USB drives, clips, and microSD cards.

The print turned out to be awesome and I'm really happy with this design.

Among Us Imposter

Mohawk Water Sprayer

Since I was a kid, I remember me and my friends having throwable plastic bottles and making a hole in their caps to spray water on each other. Was indeed a fun way to cool down in summer but that ended up making all those bottles useless in the future.

So here I've designed a fitting with multiple 1.5mm nozzles on it that is sort of similar in shape to a Mohawk (thus the name), and can easily fit onto a throwable plastic bottle. (one with a small cap)

This ensures a fun way to create a shower/sprayer with a water bottle and also ensures no plastic waste is created. 

If connected to a throwable plastic bottle, you can fill up the bottle and squeeze it to create a fountain like spray to cool yourself, and maybe even your furry friends on four paws.

This might even fit on multiple other water inlets like a water hose for example, if its diameter matches the ID of the part. 

The Mohawk water sprayer has an M24 x 3 threading inside which can fit onto corresponding bottles with small caps /pipes with small openings. 

If you are using a hard plastic bottle, then this device will pretty much act like a portable shower, and on a very hot summer day you could empty the entire bottle on your head and enjoy a shower in your backyard XD

Unfortunately I don't have a hose with me to try the Mohawk sprayer with it.

Sunscreen Squeezer

Sunscreen is quite an essential part of summer and after a sunscreen tube is about 75% used, it becomes difficult to squeeze out more with hand.

That is why I've made a very simple, yet effective tool to squeeze as much sunscreen from the tubes as possible and ensuring it reaches where it needs to be.

Made it in the shape of the sun because why not XD... and also since that's directly related to summer lol.

Cup with Ice Cube Holder

Most of us like adding ice cubes to our drinks to chill them up, but what happens when you tilt your glass a little too much while taking a sip?

The ice cubes come rushing down onto your face.
So here's a solution for that. 

This Cup has been designed such that it has a central chamber made of thin pillars which act as a cage and hold the ice cubes in place. On the top, there is a cap that can be easily fit on and then rotated to lock it in place.

The cup can easily hold 3/4 ice cubes in place and ensures you enjoy your chilled drink without the ice cubes coming in between.

Cup with Ice Holder

Rocket Shaped Ice Cream Cone Holder

Ice Creams in Cones are very tasty indeed, but there's one issue. How do you keep them standing when you can't hold them?

Here's a solution:
This fun little ice cream cone holder easily holds ice cream cones and is shaped in the form of a rocket.

The holder has an opening at the bottom through which any broken bits of the cone can fall down. There is a tray at the bottom that can hold these bits and even any molten ice cream.

This model can be easily 3d printed without supports

Ice Candy Drip Preventer

Ice candies are always a good treat to have in hot weather. The only issue is when they start melting and falling on your hands making them all sticky.
This ruins the fun.

So that's why made a simple device that can be held under the ice candy ensuring that any liquid gets collected in the tray and not on your hands.

The candy stick can easily slide in through the slot provided in the center and since it weighs just above 10 grams, it shouldn't add any weight to your hands either.

Ice Cream Drip Preventer

Eye Glass Cap.STL

For many others like me who use regular numbered/power eyeglasses, it is always a problem to switch between normal glasses and sunglasses.
That too when you require your sunglasses to have those lenses.

I'm also not a huge fan of caps/hats
So I came up with a design that acts as a cap for your eyes and can be directly mounted onto the glasses.

While this design does not act as a direct replacement for sunglasses in any way, it does prevent some amount of sunlight from hitting your eyes. 

As you can see in the model, the cap sits on the front frame of the glasses and is held completely in place by two extrusions that get attached to the sides of the glasses.

Father of all Coasters

This is the top part of the assembly and can be easily printed with just a skirt. Infill doesn't matter much. The preferable layer height is 0.2
