THE SPINOSAURUS
The largest known carnivorous dinosaur β bigger than T-Rex. Spinosaurus lived in North Africa during the mid-Cretaceous (~99-93 million years ago) and could reach 14-18 meters in length. Its long, crocodile-like snout was adapted for catching fish, but recent findings suggest it was also a capable land predator. The distinctive sail on its back, supported by elongated vertebral spines, remains one of the most debated features in paleontology.
WHO IS THIS FOR
β Fossil collectors building a display shelf β Teachers looking for a hands-on classroom model β Dinosaur fans who know that Spinosaurus was the real apex predator β Makers who sell printed replicas (commercial license available β message me) β A perfect companion piece to our life-size Velociraptor Claw
FINISHING TIPS
Looks great straight off the printer in white or bone-colored filament. For a fossil look, dry brush with diluted brown/tan acrylic paint β it settles into the crevices and gives it that aged museum cast feel. Light sanding before painting helps the paint stick. Questions? Message me. I answer fast. Check out the Velociraptor Claw on my profile β life size, same level of detail.
