Each circle is shaped like a pringle crisp (or chip), and merged together creating a dope pattern.

Simply: create dxf file of the pattern, import it in,  use that as a sketch, Cut extude into surface and taadaa.

Here is one of the designs for the 3D Printing nerd challenge. Its composed of 4 parts to make it easier to print.

I don't own a snake, so I used a snake head for reference and surfaced the head. the body adn the base ring are made using simple techniques.

I wanted to add scales but Soldiworks 3D texture was not having it XD.
