The Assassin's Teapot uses scientific principles to pour two different liquids from the same teapot. While the original purpose of the Assassin's Teapot was to poison enemies (not recommended), this version is great for magic shows and lessons on air pressure. To perform the demonstration, fill the two cavities in the teapot with the desired liquids (funnel file included). Then, simply cover one of the holes near the handle and tip the teapot to pour out the liquid contained in the cavity opposite the covered hole.

Once the Pythagoras Cup (Greedy Cup) is filled beyond its limit, all of the contained liquid will inevitably spill out the bottom of the cup. The mechanism behind the magic is a called a syphon. A syphon is formed in the Pythagoras Cup when the liquid begins to fall down the internal tube (see image of section view) causing the air pressure behind the falling water to be less than atmospheric pressure. Since the air pressure in the tube is less than atmospheric pressure, atmospheric pressure pushes the entirety of the liquid out the bottom of the cup. This version of the Pythagoras Cup is perfect for magic shows and science demonstrations.
