You install a sleek new alarm system for your home with an ergonomic keypad control and then the installer hooks it up to a power supply that looks like it was designed by someone who previously specialised in architecture for gulags.

This is a hot swap replacement that foregoes the machine screws of the original in favour of clip pins that hold it very securely in place. The power LED is more subtle and, once mounted on the wall, the brick looks unobtrusive and no longer gives you odd cravings for boiled cabbage.

These Sonoff switches are handy for automating dozens of things around the home, but occasionally they're too bulky to fit discreetly, and they're not exactly lookers if they have to be somewhere visible.

I've designed this to minimise the footprint to the absolute smallest size. The circular grill pattern keeps the unit cool and reduces weight and filament, allowing it to be printed in under 40 minutes on a modern printer. The holes also align with the function switch and the status light to minimise the depth of the unit while keeping it functional.

There are chamfered edges around the function switch and status LED to guide them through the holes when clipping the lid on, ensuring that nothing gets damaged.

The case is printed in PLA without supports or rafts. The PCB is simply placed in the base plate, and the top clips securely into place to create a compact solution.

Length is reduced from 88mm to 69mm
Width is reduced from 39mm to 37mm
Height reduced from 24mm to 21.5mm

This is a minimalist and quick-to-print solution for the messy cable/Bowden tube arrangement on the Ender 3. Doing this has prevented jams against the gantry and helped manage the cables without the excessive print and hassle of a cable spine. The Bowden tube can still move freely, and the cable mesh is only lightly gripped, so there’s no damage to the wires.

The clip locks in place with a forceful click but can still be easily opened again.

If, like me, you prefer to mount your spools on a surface above the frame of the Ender 3V3 KE to reduce vibration and make it easier to load filaments for multi-colour prints, this guide keeps the filament running smoothly regardless of where the spool is situated around the printer.

It slots easily and securely into the two screw holes that are no longer being used for the original spool holder.

This is an X-axis mount for the Nebula camera on the Creality Ender 3V3 KE, which accommodates the bracket for the Creality Input Shaping Sensor.

The updated version slots onto the X-axis end-stop with a satisfying click and can be printed without supports. There are clips on the underside of the arm so that the Nebula cable can be routed discreetly.

• increased size of cable clips
• increased thickness of top and bottom x-axis supports by 1mm
