This decorative box featuring a Viking design, painted to emulate an antique wooden finish. The centerpiece is an intricately detailed depiction of a Viking warrior's face, complete with a horned helmet and flowing beard, surrounded by elaborate Norse knotwork patterns. The surface of the box is hand-painted, carefully applied to mimic the weathered texture and color of aged wood, adding an authentic, rustic charm.

You can print the lid upright, similar to how my Book Boxes are printed. I've included the Bambu Viking_Box_V1_Lid.3mf file as a reference to guide you.
The lid is designed with slots to accommodate 5mm x 2mm magnets, ensuring it stays securely in place.
The box dimensions are 130mm (L) x 100mm (W) x 70mm (H).
Note: It is widely recognized among historians and archaeologists that there is no concrete evidence to suggest Vikings wore horned helmets in battle or daily life. This popular image of horned Viking helmets is largely a product of 19th-century romanticism and later reinforced by opera costumes and pop culture.
That said, the model presented here is a purely fictitious representation of a Viking warrior, created for artistic and imaginative purposes. It is not intended to be a historically accurate depiction.
As for whether horned helmets may have been used in ceremonial or ritual contexts, this remains a topic of debate and speculation, but it’s a discussion for another time!
