What happens when you mash together the Sozu Tile and a left/right randomizer? The Twozu... or Sozu 2.0. Watch the video to see it in action.
Hardware / Printing
- One M3x12 screw (or longer)
- Two M3 washers
- PLA, 2 walls, 10% infill, no supports
- 10mm and 3/8" flippers available
Assembly
- Press a 10mm or 3/8" ball into the flipper depending on the flipper you print. May have to use a tool or step on the flipper to fully insert it. Don't damage your floor please!
- Insert an M3x12 screw into the flipper, stack 2 washers on the screw, then install the flipper. Crank it down until it stops rotating freely.
- Slowly back out the main screw 1/8th of a turn. Repeat until the flipper freely rotates.
Edits and Notes
- Updated the 3/8" flipper by moving the counterweight 2mm towards the center. This helps with the inconsistency of the old design which had balls rarely exit the tile.
- I kinda regret calling this the Twozu as I've created the Wave Tile, a Sozu replacement. Regardless, I'm keeping the name Twozu to reduce confusion.
- Credit to 'fluffy_dandelion' from the Voidstar Lab Discord server for the idea. I saw a short video of their concept and had to make it.
- If you want a countersunk version, there's one available in the Secret Click Tiles.
This tile is part of my Counterweight Dispensers Pack. Check the others out.
